Detailed property search for properties that meet your criteria - give us the information before you even leave home and we will undertake a thorough search for you. If we do not have the right property on our books, we can extend our search using our network of partners and contacts.

Accommodation for your stay - we can help you find hotels, gîtes and chambres d'hôte.

Viewing trips - we will arrange trips to properties that may suit you. However, we try to ensure that you know as much about the property as possible before you see it so as to avoid a wasted trip (wasting your precious property-hunting time) so our in-house professional photographer takes a large number of pictures of each property. We can then show you these on a large plasma screen in the comfort of our air-conditioned offices. You can then get a feel for the property before you even see it. We can even take you to see properties in our own air-conditioned vehicles.

Making the offer - if you wish to purchase a property that you have seen, we will negotiate with the owner on your behalf.

Purchase process - we will

  • liaise with the French notaire and vendor throughout the purchasing process
  • prepare and translate the first contract (compromis de vente / vente d'immeuble)
  • review and explain the building reports (asbestos/lead/termites) as supplied by the vendor
  • we can put you in touch with experts in order to obtain advice on French inheritance laws relating to the property purchase to suit your personal circumstances
  • provide advice on and assistance with buying of the euros and transferring the deposit and completion monies
  • help with arrangements for a power of attorney where attendance for the completion is not possible or desirable
  • accompany you at the final signing (acte de vente) and interpret the proceedings
  • assist in arranging the transfer of any existing utility contracts into your name or setting up utility supplies to the property.
