House
Ground floor
The front door opens to a spacious entrance hall with tiled floor, part-panelled walls and exposed beam ceiling. To the right a door opens to a double reception room divided by glazed doors. The first part is currently used as a library (22 sq m) which has a wooden floor and a wood-burning stove. The second part is a charming sitting room (23 sq m) with wooden floor, panelled walls, an intricately carved fireplace and an exposed beam ceiling. To the side of this section a door opens back into the entrance hall.
To the left of the entrance hall a door opens to the dining room (22 sq m) with tiled floor, part-panelled walls, limestone fireplace with wood-burning stove and an exposed beam ceiling. To the rear of this room a door opens to the kitchen (17 sq m) with tiled floor and a range of modern fitted units. To one side of the kitchen a door opens back into the entrance hall and to the rear of the kitchen a door opens to a pretty courtyard terrace.
The entrance hall, dining room and kitchen (the rooms with tiled floors) all benefit from under-floor heating.
First floor
The wooden staircase rises from the rear of the entrance hall to a spacious first floor landing (11 sq m) off which are the four bedrooms (22 sq m, 22 sq m, 19 sq m and 10 sq m). One of the large bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom (freestanding bath, shower, washbasin and WC). All of the bedrooms have wooden floors and exposed beam ceilings. Also off the landing is a shower room (shower, washbasin and WC). This shower room is also accessible from one of the bedrooms.
Attic
The stairs continue to the unconverted attic space with potential.
Exterior
The property sits on a plot of 2993 sq m. To the rear of the house is a courtyard (accessible from the kitchen) with a covered area and terrace as well as an area of gravel. Forming one side of this courtyard is an outbuilding which contains a laundry room, a workshop and a store room. To the side of the house is a gravel parking area. From here the rest of the garden is reached either via a flight of stone steps or via a long ramp lined with a stone balustrade. This section of the garden has a number of mature trees including a majestic cedar tree. There is also a large area left to lawn with trees and shrubs.
